Television is Furniture
During the pandemic, Dr Rob began exploring the peromative nature of cultural commentary and critique. The Television is Furniture channel on YouTube featured reviews of online works presented during lockdown. Post pandemic, Dr Rob is transitioning these experiments in analysis and story telling to live performance and podcast. Dr Rob has presented An Unforgivably Brief History of Australian Theatre, An Unbearably Earnest Reflection on Mental health in the Australian Theatre and An Inappropriately Serious history of Australian Comedy. They are currently presenting live recordings of their podcast, Dr Rob Vs. at Theatre Works in St. Kilda.
